As founder and CEO, Kash leads the firm’s overall vision and strategy. His passion is uncovering investment opportunities through rigorous due diligence and deep understanding of what the firm is investing in.

Kash has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He founded First Avenue Advisory in 2008 while he was at Raymond James as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager. After spinning out from Raymond James, the firm became known as First Avenue Investment Counsel. Today, the firm is a leading multi-family office and investment manager, helping families work through all complexities of wealth, while implementing a pension-style approach to investing.

Kash has been a longstanding trusted resource on business for the most respected news outlets. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Washington Post, National Post, the Globe & Mail and Hong Kong Times, and is a regular guest speaker on Bloomberg.

Kash attended the University of Ottawa and is a designated Chartered Investment Manager. He is a proud supporter of various charitable initiatives that give back to youth health care and education in the community. He lives by the pursuit of excellence in business, health and family.
